Frequently Asked Questions

What makes ToppRax stronger than other racks?
​ToppRax uses a properly constructed boltless shelving frame.  On our Super Duty rack we install 3 center frame supports.  Then we bolt on a triple wire grid deck.  The deck is supported by all parts of the frame. Other companies that use boltless shelving frames use altered decking and leave out two frame supports.  Plus, they don't bolt the decks to the frame, leaving the structure unstable and weaker.  Our comparison videos shows these weakness clearly.
How long does it take to install a rack?
Our professional installers average about 45 minutes per rack. The average homeowner could spend two or three hours.  Unfortunately, some completely fail and must call a professional.
Does everything have to be moved from the garage?
No. We do need to get a ladder in the 4 x 8 area under the rack. If the rack will be installed against a wall, you may leave one row of boxes or shelves against that wall.
